Hello
I’m Aline Vieira, and I found happier days when I entered Montessori education. It was there that my search for human development gained structure, depth, and direction.
Today, in addition to my work in the classroom, I enjoy sharing this understanding and helping mothers and fathers get to know their children more clearly, aligning the adult’s posture with the real needs of each developmental stage.
I will be glad to accompany you on this journey of observation, adjustment, and growth.
The story behind my work
My path into education wasn't a straight line. Before Montessori, I worked in marketing, developed my own projects, and explored different ways of bringing people and ideas together. Looking back, a common thread connects these experiences: curiosity about human development and the environments that shape how we learn and grow.
My interest in childhood began much earlier. Growing up with a younger brother and welcoming a sister nineteen years after my own birth gave me different perspectives on children's development. Later, while studying Marketing in Brazil, I founded a children's party company where children helped create their own celebrations. Even then, I was drawn to experiences that gave children a voice and an active role.
In 2016, I moved to Vancouver to complete my AMI Montessori 3–6 training. Over the following eight years, I worked with children and families in Montessori classrooms and educational leadership, including as Director of Little Kitchen Academy's flagship location. Working with older children in the kitchen sparked my interest in the elementary years, particularly their growing need to question, reason, collaborate, and understand why things happen.
That curiosity led me to Bambu Montessori School in Brazil, where I participated in a transition project supporting children moving from the Children's House (3–6) into Elementary (6–12). Witnessing this developmental shift firsthand deepened my interest in the second plane of development and led me to pursue further AMI elementary studies in Mexico.
What resonates most with me about Montessori elementary education is Cosmic Education: the opportunity to explore the world through connections rather than isolated subjects. A question about a river can lead to geography, biology, history, mathematics, and language. Each discovery opens the door to another, allowing children to develop knowledge while preserving their natural wonder about how the world works.
Today, I bring these experiences together through Montessori tutoring, personalized learning, and parent coaching. I support children ages 6–12 through individual and small-group learning, including mathematics, language, homeschool support, and interdisciplinary exploration. I also work with parents of children ages 5–12, helping them navigate independence, boundaries, and responsibilities with a deeper understanding of development.
I believe education should help children make sense of the world while keeping alive the curiosity, wonder, and joy that make them want to explore it in the first place.
